We were made aware today that one of the puppies we bred, Fallowfen Coral Rose, has become a finalist for The Kennel Club Hero Dog Award.
The puppy was chosen by Glyn and Amanda Cunliffe to become a companion dog for their daughter Olivia who has Cerebral palsy.
We know first hand the companionship a dog can give to a child with special needs. Our daughter Lillie mae who also has special needs wouldn’t of fulfilled the life she has if it wasn’t for her 4 legged friends
When you watch Olivia and Ruby’s story it is clear to see that there is such a big connection between the pair.
Dogs can do amazing things but lets remember companionship is something we all need in this very strange world we live in no matter who you are!
I think Glyn, Amanda and Oliva have done an amazing job of rearing Ruby to play such a special part of there lives.
We are in the process of mating one of our Labrador females.
So if you were hoping for a Labrador puppy this year please get in contact so we can keep you updated with the progress as it happens!
Both parents are always fully health tested.
Please email me with a little information about yourselves and what sex and colour you were hoping for.
This litter will hopefully be born around the end of March 2022 which would make the litter ready to leave for their new homes around the end of May 2022.
Obviously we wont know exact timing until the litter arrives.
I have added some pictures below that have been kindly sent from families who have had puppies from our breeding lines in the past.

I have added a series of videos below showing how we start the training process without placing to much stress or pressure on our young puppies.
Penny is a homebred working golden retriever and Penny’s training is coming on well. The key to a successful training training is session is patience! We want all training to be smooth and as stress free as possible at a young age.
I always find the best results come when young puppies like penny don’t even realise their being trained!

Just thought id post an update of Harry our homebred Fox red Labrador retriever stud dog.
Harry had a very limited shooting season due to COVID, like many of us we had to make the best of a bad job!
In the video I have set up 5 blind retrieves, I’m sending Harry down corridors to help confidence with a good straight run out.
