At  last after a busy shooting season, and hectic 2010, we have at last had chance to sit down and update you on the events to the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010. We have now set aside some time to try and keep you updated weekly on the  events at Fallowfen Training Kennels.

We hope everyone had a fantastic end to 2009 and a great start to 2010, and hope you are all enjoying your 4 legged companions.

We are going to start by posting some photos of the offspring which have kindly been sent to us by the new owners from Flint our Golden Retriever stud dog.

Flint our working golden retriever stud dog recently sired a litter of 11 working goden retriever puppies, even though there are 11 all puppies are growing fast.

These puppies should make fanastic working companions or bidable family pets. There pedigree contains some famous kennels which include Holway, Earnsfield, Abnalls, Standerwick and Rossmhor.

Trevor has kindly sent some pictures so we can keep track of Flints puppies.

Milo and Meg 2 springer spaniels keen to work. Both are very eager to please and easily handled.

Our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever litter are now 5 weeks old and starting to get about really well, take a look!

Our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever puppies are now 2 weeks old are doing really well, they are growing fast and getting stronger on there feet every day. All 7 Toller puppies now have their eyes open and are starting to explore everywhere! We are really pleased with how the litter is progressing and really shocked at the fantastic white markings throughout this litter.

On Sunday 1st Amber finally decided it was time to burst! Amber our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever female has been carrying a heavy load for some time and we was not sure what to expect. Was she full of puppies or hot air? Well there was ample water but also 7 puppies. 2 toller males and 5 toller females. All puppies appear healthy so fingers crossed they thrive in these early days.

The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever puppies have reached a week old and are thriving off their mother. All puppies are squeaking well and are very greedy. Even in the photo shoot every puppy mistook the soft blanket for their mother and tried to sneak in an extra feed without their siblings around! All the toller puppies are very strong and are already showing good bone structure which is what we were hoping to achieve with this particular mating. Bamber is doing really well giving everything to her puppies and answering to their every need.
