This is sweep our blue roan working cocker spaniel.
We are hoping for him to become a working gun dog, and at this time is showing all the right signs!
If all goes well in his training and health screening Sweep will also be standing at stud.

Noah my 9 year old son out training this evening with his new young Labrador puppy “trigger” who is now 7 months old.

You could say Noah has the “bug”, but understands young puppies cant be out for long periods so continues to work our Golden Retriever stud dog Angus.

We have a new  up and coming Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Stud dog called Drake.

Drake is a calm collected dog with loads of personality. He is a very loving and loyal dog who has been very easy from day one.

We are hoping for Drake to become a member of our current picking up team and will slowly introduce him this coming season.

Drakes has had his hips, elbows and DNA test completed with good results.

Drakes hips are a total of 9, Drakes elbows are a total of 0 and his DNA has tested Clear/Normal for gpra and cea/ch.

 

 

Cocker spaniel puppies from health tested parents.

We have 3 gold boys remaining from our cocker spaniel litter of puppies.
Our cocker spaniel litter was born on the 15 th February.

Both parents can be viewed and are health tested in relation to the kennel club requirements through the Accredited breeder scheme.
I have attached pictures of the puppies which were taken this afternoon 11/03/2014  along with pictures of their mother Pippa who is a chocolate cocker spaniel and their father Rusty our gold cocker spaniel stud dog.

Puppies will be ready to go to their new homes from 12 th April.

There are 2 girls and 4 boys in the litter, 1 liver girl and 1 gold girl.
3 gold boys and 1 liver boy.

Cocker spaniel puppies are £750 and all puppies are docked and dew clawed legally and will be kennel club registered wormed and front lined to date. Puppies are also micro chipped and would of had 2 veterinary health checks one at 3 days old and the other at 7 weeks of age when they have their first vaccination.
Pups are reared on royal canin and also come with a puppy pack and an adaptil collar to help puppies settle into their new homes.

Group dog training sessions.

As the shooting season comes to a close I’m sure there’s many of you that want to start to rectify any issues that may have crept into your dogs during shooting season.

Or on the other hand you want to start to put training in place into any younger dogs coming through for the next shooting season which will be here before we know it.

We have been walking Heidi for the last 6 days to build here confidence on the lead. Heidi is now more fluent on the lead but is still getting use to the pressure of being led.
