After a busy weekend of visitors, all excited new Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever puppy owners, we thought it would be an ideal time to update the blog with some recent puppy pictures.

Toller tastic!

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

On Sunday 1st Amber finally decided it was time to burst! Amber our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever female has been carrying a heavy load for some time and we was not sure what to expect. Was she full of puppies or hot air? Well there was ample water but also 7 puppies. 2 toller males and 5 toller females. All puppies appear healthy so fingers crossed they thrive in these early days.

After all the awful weather and as the spring weather try’s to break through we have some fantastic news to cheer you all up! Bamber produced a litter of 8 toller puppies today. 6 boys and 2 girls sired by Bomber (Can CH Tollchester Seawild Cherrybomb)

This is Bombers first litter in the UK so we are very excited. Mother and puppies are doing really well and appear healthy. We will update the blog with pictures as soon as possible for you to take a look at these fantastically marked puppies.

Fallowfen Majestic Cookie turns one.

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

Dear Amanda and Phil, Cookie had his first birthday this week and he is
slowly turning from a high velocity puppy to a very enthusiastic young man.
He is very kind hearted and tolerant to new things, which is excellent for
a family pet. He loves to be where the action is. Any action, any time.
Cookie’s favourite activity is eating (obiviously), closely followed by
swimming and giving our cat a good chase. Although Cookie is our first dog, we have found him very easy to train from the day we brought him home he has been keen to be instructed and has always given plenty of eye contact
to us. Perhaps I am just a little bit biased, but I think Cookie might just
be the best dog in the world.

Cheers,

Jukka & Caroline

Phillip & Amanda

Apologise for not emailing you sooner but we have been busy with Rusty!

We love having him and I think he likes us (He is asleep under the desk as I type this).

He is growing fast and when we go out everyone stops and says how beautiful he is; especially his eyes.

He is full of energy and loves meeting people and other dogs. After a slow start he now dives into a stream near us but is less enthusiastic when it comes to walking in the rain.

He will come on a call, obeys sit and wait. In fact he will wait on one side of the kitchen with his food on the other until he is told to eat.
He travels well in the car, never moans and spends most of the travel time asleep!

All in all he is becoming a firm favourite within the family and we are glad to have him.

Hi Philip and Amanda

It is great to see the photos of Wilf’s brothers on your dog blog .We
thought you may like to add his too.

Wilf is a terrific dog, full of energy and mischief. He has such a lovely
character. We adore him.
He is very well known in the village and is quite the centre of attention
when we are out and about. This he seems to revel in as he is extremely
sociable and loves attention.

Hoping all is well with you.

Best wishes
Richard & Kerry
