The picking up team enjoyed cooling off with a nice swim and retrieves in the water. A fantastic way to keep fit, and cool off during the hot weather. Their day consisted of blind retrieves, double marked retrieves, directional work, jumping fences, and water retrieves, alongside the spectators of sheep, swans and ducks!! All good for the steadiness around livestock!! Flint, Moss, Rudy, Casper, and Digger all look forward to more summer training.

We have arrived at our new homes, we have loads of great new adventures, experiences and people to meet. Some of us have new Brother’s and Sister’s to help us settle in.

We have all had a great start to our new lives, our new mums and dads are very pleased with our progress and learning skills, we will keep you all updated with our progress.

There is a fantastic litter of Working Golden Retriever puppies born in West Sussex sired by our Working Golden Retriever stud dog Haddeo Thesfus Of Fallowfen “Flint” . Both parents are from fantastic working lines with single digit hip score’s.

These puppies should make fantastic working companions or biddable family pets. Their pedigree contains some famous kennels which include Holway, Earnsfield, Abnalls, Standerwick and Rossmhor.

Flint our working golden retriever stud dog has recently sired a large litter of 11 working golden retriever puppies! All of the 11 and their mum are doing really well.
Mum is worked by Trevor Wannerton, she is a lovley working golden retriever with honest ability, dark colour with clear eye certificate and low hip score. Trevor wanted to use Flint at stud for his regal looks and fantastic game finding ability.
But what Trevor was most impressed with was, well in Trevor’s words
“how does he know to be an honest working dog one minute and a fantastic laid back family companion the next.”
Well we are very lucky with flint and his out look to life, he is a strong part of our picking up team but also loves time with the children. Hopefully this will rub off on his offspring!

After a busy weekend of visitors, all excited new Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever puppy owners, we thought it would be an ideal time to update the blog with some recent puppy pictures.

On Sunday 1st Amber finally decided it was time to burst! Amber our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever female has been carrying a heavy load for some time and we was not sure what to expect. Was she full of puppies or hot air? Well there was ample water but also 7 puppies. 2 toller males and 5 toller females. All puppies appear healthy so fingers crossed they thrive in these early days.

Dear Amanda and Phil, Cookie had his first birthday this week and he is
slowly turning from a high velocity puppy to a very enthusiastic young man.
He is very kind hearted and tolerant to new things, which is excellent for
a family pet. He loves to be where the action is. Any action, any time.
Cookie’s favourite activity is eating (obiviously), closely followed by
swimming and giving our cat a good chase. Although Cookie is our first dog, we have found him very easy to train from the day we brought him home he has been keen to be instructed and has always given plenty of eye contact
to us. Perhaps I am just a little bit biased, but I think Cookie might just
be the best dog in the world.
