What does it take to produce a dog with a good temperament?
In light of recent events in the UK regarding dog attacks, I thought that some dog owners and breeders may find this video intresting.
Although we don’t believe a good temperament is a given without the right guidelines, lifestyle and training throughout a dogs lifetime, we can start to put the foundations in place from birth. A puppies first main contact is with their mother, so we prioritise keeping the mother well-nourished, supported, and stress-free during pregnancy and rearing of their litter.
A calm and healthy mother is less likely to pass on anxious behaviours to her litter, providing a stable environment for the puppies early weeks of life.
So, in this video we try to explain certain routines we have in place to help our puppies feel happy and contented to reach those first early milestones.
