{"id":1809,"date":"2019-04-07T07:58:08","date_gmt":"2019-04-07T07:58:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fallowfen.com\/dogblog\/?p=1809"},"modified":"2024-05-23T18:19:06","modified_gmt":"2024-05-23T18:19:06","slug":"treacle-things-start-to-go-wrong","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fallowfen.com\/dogblog\/2019\/04\/07\/treacle-things-start-to-go-wrong\/","title":{"rendered":"Treacle &#8211; Things start to go wrong!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Yesterday I took Treacle back out to the training field to see if the activity I had been doing with her food bowl to understand directions with my hands had transferred to when being asked to retrieve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had been activating treacle at feeding time but since the last video she has also had a lot of free time playing with older dogs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As you will see in the video when treacle is under control on the lead she is willing but when she gets free she looks to play and explore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is normal behaviour for all young dogs but when training we need to utilise all there energy in the right direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the next 10 days I will take Treacle out every 2 -3 days to run through the same training activities trying to bring more focus to me making her understand we are a partnership and need each other!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"460\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KRe3mQtnvSc\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday I took Treacle back out to the training field to see if the activity I had been doing with her food bowl to understand directions with my hands had transferred to when being asked to retrieve.
